2025 has witnessed an important momentum for the European Construction Industry Federation, its preparedness to multiple challenges and to new economic and political scenarios. This is the year marked FIEC’s 120th anniversary, which increased awareness on the recognition of the Federation’s milestones and achievements, from the past to present days.
Where did it all started? From the creation of ties across Europe back in in 1905, when the first international FIEC Congress took place in Liège (Belgium) during the World Exhibition.
FIEC has a rich and meaningful history. Our federation is older than the European Union itself — and it has witnessed its creation, evolution, and the many landmarks, turning points and epoch-making events along the way.
