“Mental Health in the Workplace: The Employer’s Perspective in Europe” Mind@Work, is a transnational, EU-funded initiative designed to promote mental health in the workplace from the viewpoint of employers and their organisations. Employers have a determinant role to play in protecting and promoting workers’ psychological well-being. Mind@Work aims to equip them with practical tools, knowledge, and policy guidance to better prevent and manage psychosocial risks at work.
The project is coordinated by the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) and is supported by a strong and diverse consortium, including research partners: European Employers’ Institute (EEI), ADAPT, Fondazione ADAPT and its affiliated entities (AE).
EU-level associated partners: ECEG, HOTREC, EuroCommerce, and CEEMET.
The two-year project will be implemented following three main phases:
- Research involving stakeholders to identify existing best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Thematic webinars including topics on regulatory frameworks, digitalization & mental health and inequalities in the workplace.
- Action brief building practical guidelines to improve mental well-being in diverse work environments.
Mind@Work will seek to strengthen the role of employers in creating healthier workplaces and to contribute to the broader European agenda of integrating mental health into employment and social policies. The project aspires to support organisations in building resilient, inclusive, and psychologically safe working environments across Europe.
