Download the latest publication from the European Council for Construction Research, Development and Innovation (ECCREDI).
The ECCREDI Strategy 2026 outlines a holistic approach to research and innovation across the entire construction value chain. It addresses new priorities such as affordable housing, artificial intelligence, and industrialised construction, with a particular focus on research needs and market uptake perspectives.
ECCREDI brings together stakeholders from across the full construction ecosystem, including contractors, engineers, consultants, architects and designers, product manufacturers, building control organisations, and research bodies covering buildings, infrastructure, and geotechnics.
ECCREDI’s mission is to contribute to the competitiveness, quality, safety, and environmental performance of the construction sector while supporting the overall sustainability of the built environment, including urban and transport infrastructure. The organisation advocates for effective design and construction research, technological and process development, and innovation.
Established in Brussels in 1995, ECCREDI counts FIEC among its founding members.
