Mind@Work project kicks-off

On 22nd April the official launch of the EU co-funded project Mind@Work (Mental Health in the Workplace: The Employer’s Perspective in Europe) marked the start of a two-year collaboration aimed at strengthening employers’ role in addressing mental health and psychosocial risks at work.

The kick off meeting was hosted by FIEC, as project coordinator in charge of leading the overall implementation, coordination, and delivery of the initiative.

Mind@Work brings together a transnational consortium including the research organisation Fondazione ADAPT, with support from associated partners ECEG, HOTREC, EuroCommerce and Ceemet, as well as the affiliated entity ADAPT.

Mental health has become an increasingly important priority across Europe, with growing awareness of the impact of psychosocial risks on workers’ well-being, organisational performance and economic sustainability. In this context, Mind@Work aims to strengthen the employers’ voice in social dialogue and provide practical, evidence-based tools to help organisations integrate mental health into workplace strategies.
Over the next two years, the consortium will carry out research activities, stakeholder consultations and thematic webinars addressing key topics such as digitalisation, work organisation and discrimination, and their effects on workers’ mental health. These activities will culminate in a comprehensive report and an Action Brief offering concrete guidance for employers across Europe.

The kick-off meeting allowed partners to align on project objectives, governance and work planning, setting the foundations for effective cooperation under FIEC’s coordination and ensuring the timely implementation of activities.

Mind@Work is the second project of the European Employers’ Institute (EEI) and reflects the growing commitment of European employers to promote healthier, more resilient workplaces through strengthened social dialogue.
