FIEC is pleased to co-organise with CleanTech a high-level Masterclass entitled "The Pact for Skills and what new skills will drive the twin transition?", taking place on the 18th and 19th of June 2026 at FIEC premises in Brussels, Belgium.
The event is led by the BuildSkills Academy Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE), an initiative dedicated to strengthening vocational education and training systems in the construction sector.
The Masterclass will bring together an assembly of industry leaders, VET providers, policymakers, and skills experts from across Europe. Through high-level discussions, peer learning, and networking activities, participants will engage in insightful dialogue on evolving skills needs impulsed by the digital and green transition and labour market foresight, exchange innovative practices in workforce transformation, and explore concrete pathways for large-scale upskilling and reskilling across the European construction ecosystem. Apprenticeships, lifelong learning, and skills recognition will also feature prominently on the agenda.
Together, these discussions aim to reinforce the resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability of the construction sector, in line with the ambitions of the Pact for Skills to which FIEC is the coordinator.
The event will be held physically in Brussels and conducted in English. Stakeholders unable to attend in person are warmly invited to join online by completing the registration form at the link below.
The agenda and virtual access details will be shared with all registered participants in due course.
