On 14 November 2023, FIEC actively participated to the RECOVERY CONSTRUCTION FORUM 2.0 and #RebuildUkraine Conference & Exhibition hosted in Warsaw at the EXPO XXI Congress Centre.

In this context, together with the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW), and in their role as European Social Partners, FIEC agreed on the principles for a sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine. FIEC and EFBWW signed a "Memorandum of Understanding", which encourages stakeholders and authorities to put in place an adequate framework aiming at:

- combatting corruption

- promoting quality jobs

- developing skills and training

- promoting collective bargaining agreements

- implementing adequate occupational health and safety provisions

- facilitating cooperation between the EU Social Partners and Ukraine
