About Us

Structure

  1. FIEC's internal working structure is based on three commissions, each under the responsibility of a Vice-President :
  • The Economic and Legal Commission (ECO), which deals, amongst others, with issues such as public procurement, the financing and maintenance of transport infrastructure
  • The Social Commission (SOC), which deals with training and education, the free movement of workers and services, health and safety matters
  • The Technical Commission (TEC), dealing with standards, energy efficiency, circular economy and the environment, as well as research,  development and innovation.

Besides these Commissions, there are working groups dealing with issues such as Construction 4.0 (#digitalisation),  Competitiveness and Sustainability. The FIEC Vice-President "SME" ensures the respect of specific SME interests in all work undertaken by the various Commissions and groups of FIEC.
