Joint Letter to MEP - Support for the re-establishment of the URBAN Intergroup in the European Parliament

Crucial weeks ahead for intergroups in the European Parliament! As it is now the time to re-establish or create them, FIEC and its partners of the European Housing Forum strongly advocate for the renewal of the "Urban Intergroup".

Over the years, the Urban Intergroup has been instrumental in fostering dialogue, shaping EU policies, and driving sustainable solutions to the housing challenges faced by millions of Europeans.

With growing urgency around issues like affordability, accessibility, and energy efficiency, we believe the continued focus of the Urban Intergroup is critical. Its work plays a vital role in building resilient and inclusive urban communities across Europe.

Let’s support its reconduction and ensure housing remains a key priority in the European Parliament!
