23 May, Brussels - Social Identity Cards in Construction: Kick-off Worskshop (SIDE-CIC)
The coalition of associations - including FIEC! - supporting a strong EU budget for transport after 2020 launched a dedicated website www.moreeubudget4transport.org a Twitter account @MFF4transport; as well as an online petition www.change.org/p/more-targeted-budget-programs-for-eu-transport.
These official launches occured just ahead of the Informal Council meeting of Heads of States and Governments of 23rd February, who discussed the priorities for the next Multi-Annual Financial Framework (post-2020).
The goal is to accelerate the pace of the campaign until the next TEN-T DAYS conference, which will take place from 25th to 27th April in Ljubljana, Slovenia. That is, shortly before the European Commission presents its official proposals for the multi-annual EU budget after 2020.
