The Digitalisation of Construction SMEs website is online - training opportunities

The website dedicated to the supporting actions for the Digitalisation of Construction SMEs is now online. The website acts as a one-stop-shop portal to access all the services offered to SMEs in the construction sector interested in digitalising their business and working practices.

The link to the website can be found here: https://digital-construction.ec.europa.eu/

These services to be found on the website include:

- A digital maturity scan, available in two versions (quick and in-depth) to help construction SMEs evaluate their digitalisation level;

- A handbook which includes next steps and recommendations on how to further digitalise construction SMEs;

- A collection of best practices provided by construction SMEs which implemented digitalisation projects, detailing experienced benefits of and barriers to digitalisation.

The launch of the website is part of a project supporting the digitalisation of construction SMEs, delivered by a consortium composed of Ecorys, TNO, IMP³ROVE and Europa Media Group on behalf of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the SME Executive Agency (EISMEA) of the European Commission. Its purpose is to support the digitalisation of SMEs in the sector, foster their growth, enhance their productivity and efficiency, and prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly connected and digitalised world. The services offered, as well as the research required to design them, are based on the recommendations of a European Commission Study on Supporting digitalisation of the construction sector and SMEs.

The website is currently available in the following languages: English, French, German, Dutch/Flemish, Polish, Spanish/Castilian.
