Trowers & Hamlins joins FIEC as Supporting Member

FIEC welcomes the law firm Trowers & Hamlins headquartered in the United Kingdom

On 7th December 2023, during its General Assembly held in Paris, FIEC announced a new membership: the law firm Trowers & Hamlins that joined as “Supporting Member”.

Based at the heart of London, Trowers & Hamlins operates at international level with over 170 partners and more than 1000 people located across the United Kingdom, Middle East and Asia.

During its long history, the firm has been honouring values that have made it a leading law firm, being an inclusive and exciting place to work. Some 240 years on, these attributes remain solidly embedded in the company’s culture and its methods. The pool of its experts is worldwide known in the area of transactional and advisory legal services that provide clients with fresh thinking and commercially-driven solutions.

 

In his welcome statement, FIEC President, Philip Crampton, informed that «the firm is joining FIEC with of aim of contributing to the promotion and voicing of the interests of the construction industry and related services. The new partnership will bring a complementary added-value to the work of our Federation».

 

Tim Hillier, Partner at Trowers & Hamlins, said that «We are very proud to have become the first official Supporting Member of FIEC which complements our ongoing presence in the European construction market and the work we undertake for European and UK contractors involved in infrastructure and engineering projects across Europe» - and concluded -  «We look forward to working with members of FIEC, its commissions and working groups to continue to build a resilient and sustainable construction industry that works for all».
